UPLIFT Tattoo & Piercing, Soho, New York – Appointment Scheduling, Deposits & Client Agreement (2025)

Appointment Scheduling & Deposits

  • All artists require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.

  • With 48+ hours’ notice, you may transfer your deposit one time to a rescheduled appointment.

  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, do not show up, or arrive more than 20 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and may only be transferred once.

Deposit Structure

  • Standard Tattoo Appointment: $70 deposit ($50 applied toward tattoo, $20 covers taxes & fees)

  • Group / Matching Tattoos: $135 deposit 2+ People ($100 applied, $35 covers taxes & fees)

  • Full-Day Session: $350 deposit ($300 applied, $50 covers taxes & fees)

  • Walk-ins: Require a $20 fee, same as the online deposit system

All credit card transactions incur a processing fee.

Pricing Policy

  • Final pricing depends on design complexity, size, placement, and time required.

  • Each artist has their own hourly rate, based on experience and demand.

  • Estimates may be provided during consultation, but final price is determined at completion.

  • Design changes made during or after a session may increase total cost.

  • Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of service.

Consultation Policy

  • Consultations must be done in person with your artist.

  • Consultations do not guarantee fixed pricing; only an estimate.

Service Policies

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old with valid photo ID.

  • Health & Safety: We follow strict sanitation and safety standards. Clients must follow all aftercare instructions provided.

  • Refusal of Service: UPLIFT reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to inappropriate behavior, health concerns, or requests outside of our ethical or professional standards.

Liability Waiver & Release

By scheduling with UPLIFT Tattoo & Piercing, you acknowledge and agree:

  • Tattooing and piercing carry inherent risks, including possible allergic reactions, infection, or complications.

  • UPLIFT Tattoo & Piercing, its owners, artists, employees, and assigns are released from all liability for injury, illness, or property damage that may arise from services performed.

  • You will follow aftercare instructions provided by your artist.

  • You acknowledge tattoos/piercings may take a month or longer to fully heal.

  • You confirm you are 18 or older and all information provided is true and correct.

Media Release

  • UPLIFT Tattoo & Piercing may photograph or video your tattoo or piercing for marketing purposes.

  • Unless you consent otherwise, your face will be excluded or blurred from posted images.

  • Images may be used on our website, social platforms, and other promotional materials.

Safety & Security

  • For the safety of clients and staff, common areas and artist workstations are equipped with security cameras.

  • Recordings and client information are kept confidential and released only in response to legal requests.

Promotion Policy

  • Some promotions may exclude specific artists. Exclusions are final and non-negotiable.

  • Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.

  • Participation is subject to availability and may be limited by organizers.

  • Organizers reserve the right to amend or terminate promotions at any time without notice.

  • By participating, clients release UPLIFT Tattoo & Piercing and affiliates from any claims relating to the promotion.

Client Agreement

By booking an appointment, you confirm:

  • You understand and accept all terms outlined above.

  • You release UPLIFT Tattoo & Piercing, its owners, employees, and agents from liability for any injury, illness, or property damage arising from services received.

  • You agree to follow aftercare instructions.

  • You confirm you are at least 18 years old.
